There was an article in the Daily Post that made me think of this group -- the Menlo Park City Council voted to buy 3 Teslas for the police force for $116K each. "The purchase is part of a request the council made in 2019 to phase out as many gasoline-powered vehicles as possible to stop climate change."
Hmmm... They are spending $350K to get 3 gasoline-powered vehicles off the road, but continuing to allow gas-powered leaf blowers, which (together with other gas lawn equipment) account for more pollution than all passenger vehicles combined?
